PhD

William Nardi is the Senior Researcher at Mindshift Recovery, where he leads research design, data analysis, and evidence validation for the Mindshift Method.

William earned his Ph.D. and M.A. from Brown University, specializing in mixed-methods research on digital interventions for substance use disorders and mental health. His research applies behavioral science and reinforcement learning principles to optimize app-based interventions for habit change and recovery, with particular expertise in user experience research and engagement analytics.

He has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications examining how mindfulness-based digital tools reduce craving, anxiety, and addictive behaviors.
