Mary Beth Stern, ICADC
Senior Facilitator
Mary Beth Stern is a Senior Facilitator and Mindfulness Teacher for Mindshift Recovery. She is an Internationally Certified Drug & Alcohol Counselor (ICDAC) and Certified Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Teacher (MBSR). Trained at the Center for Mindfulness at UMASS Medical School and Brown University, Mary Beth has taught at Jupiter Medical Center, Mindful Leader, and the Mindfulness and Health Institute. She has brought the Mindshift method to groups and individuals in a variety of settings: residential treatment centers, intensive outpatient programs and private counseling.
Dan Holcolmb
Senior Facilitator
Dan is a Senior Facilitator for Mindshift Recovery. He has a deep passion for blending mindfulness-based meditation techniques with evidence-based results to help alleviate suffering and positively impact the world around him. He has been trained in the Mindshift Method and has been teaching it for more than four years.
The Mindshift Essentials Course
8-Weeks
In this course, you’ll learn how to understand how your brain works and get the practical tools you need to work with your brain so you can change your behaviors and feel better. The course has a live online meeting every week for eight weeks, so you get lots of practice in the Mindshift Method surrounded by supportive teachers and others in recovery.
